ReBirth was one of the first ever software synthesizers. Support and development of ReBirth is now discontinued and it can be downloaded for free. It is a computer simulation of classic Roland devices -- the TB-303 Bass Line Synthesizer and the TR-808 and TR-909 Rythmn Composers. Rebirth's numerous features include mixers, delay effects, a distortion effect unit, a compressor/limiter and a "pattern controlled filter". Your songs can be exported in WAV and AIFF formats.
