eMule is one of the biggest and most reliable peer-to-peer file sharing clients based on the eDonkey2000 network.

Emule offers more functions than the standard client, and has a very user-friendly interface. This version uses the Kademlia protocol and enables you to connect to the Kad network. This means that eMule will function without a server! You can share any type of file (avi, divx, mp3, mpeg, jpeg etc.)

This new version eMule 0.49a fixes some bugs and adds a lot of small changes.

It is recommended to use a newer operating system like Windows 2000, XP or Vista as they handle multiple connections far better than Windows 9x/ME.
