Image for Linux is a partition imaging program that is designed to run on a Linux-based operating system.
The user interface is very similiar to Image for DOS (IFD), and the images it creates are 100% compatible with the other TeraByte Unlimited imaging programs.
Image for Linux can be run:
* from any Linux distribution (a 2.6 series kernel is recommended)
* from a bootable CD/DVD created from Windows or Linux
* from a USB flash drive or hard drive partition
* from a PXE network boot
* interactively from the menu interface
* from the command line
* from a script
* from a terminal window within the X environment (such as an xterm)
* from the Linux console outside of the X environment
